Who Am I?

I’m BJCrum — Missouri farm born and grown, Military educated, Jamaican Floridain raised, Oklahoma retired. Nevada bearer bond Incorporated and all kinds of crazy. I’ve been making music for over 45 years, blending everything I love into one loud, unapologetic sound: southern rock and roll grit, country outlaw metal energy, and raw religious rap rebellion. Copyrighted in a certified dated letter. I grew up between the Everglades swamp and the back wood dirt back roads. Raised on steal guitar and synthesizer, grit, and good old chaos. I’ve never fit inside any damn box. My songs come from real life, family, freedom, faith, frustration, service to country, and a whole lot of dark humor. I’m that mix of backwoods preacher and madman profit, a God driven Good Fellow, raising hell with a grin, turning life’s mess into music. That hits hard and bruises or breaks bone. Every track I drop is a part of me, honest, wild, and born and blessed to shake the dirt off. I don’t chase fads or trends. I build fire, that burns down the barns, recording studios, & concert halls. This is BJCrum aka the “Junk Yard Dog” “Tiger-One” “Coptic Bob” an a few other choice names earned, and given. I’m just getting warmed up. maybe even a tad bit psychotic. (The phrase "maybe a tad bit psychotic" is typically used informally to describe behavior that seems slightly odd, irrational, or out of character. In a clinical context, the term refers to a brief psychotic disorder-or psychotic symptoms, a serious medical issue that involves a temporary loss of contact with reality.)
